Furthermore, Gentili Mosconi is committed to increasing the use of certified raw materials. The main certifications held by the company are GOTS, GRS, FSC®, to which the new RWS certification was added in 2023.
GOTS is recognized as the most important international standard for the sustainable production of garments and textiles made from natural, organically grown fibers.

Purchasing Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified products ensures recycled content and best processing practices in the supply chain.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) has established a certification and chain of custody management system that ensures forest-based products, including cellulose (from which viscose is derived), come from responsibly managed forests. Gentili Mosconi is certified for the commercialization of FSC® viscose and acetate fabrics.

4s Chem
The 4s Chem protocol of 4Sustainability® for the progressive elimination of hazardous chemicals from production cycles and the finished product is based on the ZDHC programme with the objective of more sustainable production to protect workers, consumers and the ecosystems of our planet. Applied since 2018, it has enabled the group’s companies to reach the Excellence level, corresponding to the highest level of implementation.
4s Planet
The 4s Planet protocol of 4Sustainability® is a protocol that promotes responsible use of resources to reduce environmental impacts. Implemented in group companies from 2022. Implementation level Basic.
4s Materials
The 4s Materials protocol of 4Sustainability® develops an accompanying pathway for conversion to the use of materials with a lower environmental and social impact for more sustainable production. Applied from 2023 with Ongoing level.
