The approach of our sustainability strategy is based on the values in which we be certain of. By integrating the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda into our business strategy, we want to contribute to a conscious and responsible change in the fashion world, in partnership with all our stakeholders.

The Environment
Gentili Mosconi wants to contribute to the protection of the environment, health and wellbeing of people, by choosing certified materials and through processes that are attentive to environmental impacts related to water consumption, climate-altering GHG emissions, waste management and the elimination of chemical substances that are hazardous to humans and the environment.
The social Aspect
The well-being and safety of people, continuous training, gender equity, and the creation of a modern, positive and stimulating working environment are the goals we set for the sustainable growth of our group.
We want to contribute to the development of the local community and are strongly committed to ensuring that the textile culture of the area is enhanced and passed on to future generations.
Governance
In 2023 Gentili Mosconi became a Benefit Company. This significant step reflects our desire to pursue common benefit, in addition to what is already set out in our Code of Ethics, with the aim of generating a positive and tangible impact on the people and the environment in which we operate.
As a Società Benefit, we are committed to conducting our activities in a responsible, sustainable and transparent manner, working for the benefit of people, communities, the environment, cultural and social activities, as well as in cooperation with organisations, associations and other stakeholders. Our actions are geared towards creating measurable social value in the public interest, while maintaining economic results.
GENTILI MOSCONI FOR THE UN SDGs
In developing its ESG strategy and commitments, Gentili Mosconi intends to contribute to the realisation of the 17 Objectives of Sustainable Development as defined in the 2030 Agenda promoted by the UN as an international sustainability strategy for the years to come.
The SDGs to which Gentili Mosconi aims to contribute with the implementation of processes that pay attention to environmental impacts (consumption water, GHG emissions, waste management and chemicals) and the choice of sustainable materials are 6, 7, 12 and 13.
The Group’s social impacts, on the other hand, focus on the people’s well-being and safety, training continued and gender equity, as reflected in the SDGs 3,4,5,10 e 11.
On Governance matters, the choice of SDGs 8, 9 and 17 represents the company’s commitment to contribute to sustainable economic growth, to the adoption of safe technological innovations and to partnerships with stakeholders to promote the Sustainable Development.
